Who we are

MetaClarity ("MetaClarity", "we", "us") is the Singapore-registered business that operates MetaSense, a metabolic health education programme. This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected through the MetaSense website, registration process, programme workflow, and related communications.

What personal data we collect

Depending on your interaction with MetaSense, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

• Name
• Contact details, including email address and mobile number
• Age confirmation
• Health declaration responses
• Registration details
• Payment-related information (processed through our payment provider)
• Referral code, if provided
• Lab data or health screening data, only if you choose to share this with MetaClarity for the purpose of generating your MetaSense Report

How we use your personal data

We use personal data for purposes connected with MetaSense, including:

• Processing your registration
• Assessing programme workflow and eligibility
• Coordinating doctor review and lab appointment flow
• Generating the MetaSense Report, where data has been shared with us for that purpose
• Communicating with participants about their programme, results, or follow-up
• Maintaining records and complying with legal, regulatory, and operational obligations

Who we may disclose your data to

We may disclose your personal data to the following categories of recipients, where required for the MetaSense workflow or where legally necessary:

• The licensed Singapore doctor involved in reviewing your health declaration and any associated test requests
• Our HCSA-licensed lab partner, where needed for the testing workflow
• Our payment processor, for payment administration
• IT, hosting, and technology service providers that support our operations
• Professional advisers (such as legal, accounting, or compliance advisers), where reasonably required
• Authorities, regulators, or other parties, where disclosure is required by law

MetaClarity does not sell your personal data.

Data security

MetaClarity makes reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data in our possession or under our control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks. This is consistent with the Protection Obligation under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA").

Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as it is needed for the business, legal, or operational purposes for which it was collected, or as otherwise required by applicable law. When personal data is no longer required for any legal or business purpose, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.

Access and correction

Under the PDPA, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and to request correction of any personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete. To make such a request, please contact our data protection contact at the email address below. We may charge a reasonable fee for access requests, where permitted by law.

Withdrawal of consent

You may withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data at any time by writing to our data protection contact. Please note that withdrawing consent may affect our ability to continue providing the MetaSense programme to you. For example, if you withdraw consent before doctor review or testing has been completed, we may be unable to proceed with your participation in the programme.

We will inform you of any likely consequences of withdrawing consent before giving effect to your request.

Overseas transfer

Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore (for example, when using cloud-based hosting or technology services that operate from servers outside Singapore), we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient is bound by legally enforceable obligations to provide a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.
